Go into Settings> Apps > Calendar > Calendar Accounts and select the account in question. Then make sure the toggle below (see image) is on / green. If not toggle it on. You could also try toggling if off then on.
To do this :
Quickly press and release the Volume Up button, then quickly press and release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.
